Volunteering at Glengallan is a rewarding experience as you interact with people who likewise value and celebrate the nature and history of this place and are committed to its success as a heritage tourism and special events venue.

Volunteer Groups

In the House
Sit at a table in the entrance hall and greet people visiting the homestead. Bring a book, embroider, relax, watch the garden gnomes work and talk to visitors.

Be a Garden Gnome
Our gardening group meets for 2 hours every Saturday morning and always have a fun morning. Jobs included pruning, raking, planting,

Be a Kitchen Maid
Assist in the Glengallan Kitchen making mouthwatering scones, meat pies, and gourmet goodies for the Heritage Centre Coffee Shop and catered functions.

Join the Archives Group
Assist with collation and compilation of registers and computerised databasing of our extensive Collection which includes artifacts, documents, photographs, digital and audio visual record.
